The Mormoraia Farm Business
The Mormoraia holding covers an area of over 100 hectares, of which 30 hectares is cultivated with vineyards, and 10 hectares with olive groves. It’s immersed in the heart of Tuscany on the hills of San Gimignano, in a panoramic position of rare beauty.
The cultivation of the vineyards and the olive groves is supervised by Giuseppe Passoni, owner of the Mormoraia farm business, and he carries out his work with the maximum respect for the territory and the environment.
The Farm Business and the Wine Cellar
Production of our wine is developed by use of the most up to date techniques of vinification, with computerized control of temperature during fermentation of the must.
The wine casks and the French oak barrels used during the ageing process consents an elevated quality level to be reached by the Mormoraia wines.
These wines are appreciated all round the world and are illustrated in some of the more acknowledged eno-gastronomic guides.
